Trip to Cameron Highlands.

Last week, on the 16th of September 2011, me and another eight friends of mine went to Cameron Highlands just to have fun. It was a great experience and I had great fun with them. ^^

It was raining that time so the temperature dropped really fast. I was sweating in the afternoon but then as it went dark, the rain came and there you are; a stiff coldness on the air. Hoho

Not that cold though. I was wearing a sleeveless dress, knee level, and yet I still can stand firm. Ahahaha except for some of the times when the wind suddenly blow really strong wind with cold air. Fuiyoh!

Me and my bestie ate a lot of strawberries. Strawberry steamboat, strawberry ice cream, strawberry choc, fresh strawberry and so on until I felt like throwing up. Ahahaha  yet, they tasted amazing!!!

We also met the drummer of Estranged band; Andy. I didn't recognized him as I don't really know about this band but when he passed by, I signaled my friend to look at him and said, "look at that fellow! So handsome!" Then my friend turned and looked at him. She was speechless. Then she turned to me and said, "don't you know him?? He is Andy!! Estranged's drummer!!" Ahahahaha

Really wished I can go to Cameron Highlands with my family. It must be a lot of fun too. :)

Trip to Bukit Tinggi!

I'm back!

Was out of college last weekend for another trip and guess what,

I went to Bukit Tinggi this time!

Yeah! The trip was freaking awesome, dude! I'll be there again, soon. :)

Over there, I went to three different places -- well it's basically one huge place

with 3 different countries. Ahahaha sounds more complicated. :)

First place I went to is Colmar Tropicale -- a French-themed place. Inside it, you felt as if you are in France. No joke.

The restaurant, the shops, everything made you feel like
you are NOT in Malaysia.

I watched dance performances by the French and it was cool.

Even the temperature was quite cold. I also saw swans -- the black and white swans.

They looked like perfectly beautiful but when I drew nearer, they were actually not that beautiful! Ahahahaha

I even managed to play paint-gun. RM10 per packet (5 pellets)

Then I waited for safari shuttle bus. It took me to
Japanese Garden and Botanical Garden.

Man, I tell you, when you reached the Japanese Garden,

you will feel as if you ARE in Japan.

I put on kimono (well, it costs you extra RM20 to try it on for about 15 mins),

and shit,

I have to admit that I was super excited.

That damn place reminded me of my childhood.

I wished that I lived in Japan. I know how stupid that sounded

but that was my childhood dream. Ahahaha

I love it super damn much.

At least I got the feeling of living in Japan even when it's not true. :)

After that, I went to Botanical Garden.

Not much to see because it's not the season for the flowers to bloom.

If you are a nature-lover (like me, ehem!),
you'll feel good being surrounded by nature.

You can learn a lot from there.
Thousand of herbs, trees, and many more plants are there.

They even show the names of those plants. Super fresh air.

Then, I went to Rabbit Park. Here, they charged you RM3 for entrance.

But hey, they let you in the 'Rabbit home-stay' (ahahaha) and
you can touch them,

feed them and play with them.
Since the rabbits are separated according to their age,

you are only allowed to play with the adult rabbits.

The small one were kept inside a smaller cage.
Here, I felt like I'm in Malaysia again.

Ahahaha

There are also some other animals such as horse, donkeys, reindeers, guinea pig
and so onbut the only animal you can actually be close to is the rabbit.

After that I went back to Colmar Tropicale and wait for the van to

take me back to Times Square. End of trip. Came back at 6.30 pm. :)

The only regret I'm having right now is that I didn't bring a camera.

I repeat, I DID NOT BRING ANY CAMERA. 

Sigh...

That's like the stupidest thing ever.

So I just can keep all the memories inside my 1GB brain. =.="

Here, I would like to share a piece of information if you are planning to go there:

1. Please Bring a camera. It's a MUST.

2. If you don't have your own transport, you can go to

 http://www.berjayahotel.com/berjayahills/getthere.asp

*You can book a daily shuttle bus service here.

You'll have to call them and bank-in the money first.

To and fro ticket will cost you RM55 per person

3. Safari shuttle bus there is free so you don't have to worry.

4. Over there, the only place that has entrance fee is Rabbit Park, which is RM3.

The rest is free.

*There is an entrance fee to enter Colmar Tropicale (which is RM12)

but if you follow the daily shuttle service from the link I gave you just now,

the ticket (RM55) has actually included your entrance fee.

5. If you want to wear kimono,

you'll have to pay RM20 and you can take pics with it.

There is also a tea-ceremony if you want to.

It will be another extra charge which is RM28. :)

So if you want to go there, you will just have to pay

RM58 and you can already go to all those places I went.

Other than that, such as food, souvenirs and kimono, all are up to you. (^^,)

Trip with My Classmates!

Last week was 'awesome'. My class (K11) together with another TESL class (K10) went to Teluk Senangin for a trip. It was supposedly be a trip where all of us should relax and have a good time with each other, spend more time to know each other better, especially with our tutor. It turned out to be a disaster. An awesome disaster. Ahahahaha

Here's the plan:

We are goin' there, stay in a motel, have barbeque, reflection session with our tutor and just have fun. Enjoy.

Then it turned out to be this way:

We went there, found out that we had to stay in a dorm (which is not as private as in motel), that dorm was terrible -- the beds were full with dust and the room itself was fuckin' dusty, no shower room so everybody bathed in the toilet, short circuit each time you on the fan, no water the next morning -- , the place where we ate was full with flies -- the flies population are thousands times more than the people who stayed in Teluk Senangin -- , in conclusion : we fucked.

My advice: Never stay at KAMILA MOTEL. They are rude. Their excuse for treating us that way is : "you pay so little and yet you expect us to treat you like in a 5-star hotel". Eh, hello! First of all, we didn't ask you much. We ask the technician to come and repair the circuit because how do you expect your customer to sleep without fan? We ask you to add more food because we paid for 53 people but you gave some of our food to the politician who happened to be there that weekend? We ask you to fix the water tap because there was no water! Is that what you call a 5-star hotel request? I would say that was just the MOST BASIC THING A CUSTOMER WOULD ASK.

But I wouldn't blame that not-so-clever motel. There's another story behind it involving some things that just can't be mentioned. :)

So whoever wants to go to Teluk Senangin, better not to. I would never ever come there ever again. Such a waste of my time. Even if you want to go, don't NEVER stay at KAMILA MOTEL.

But then, our objectives; to be closer to each other and to restart any bad things between us were achieved. So it's okay. At least we had a good time and enjoyed our fun activities (playing on the beach) much. :)

Now I am thinking of goin' to Mt. Kinabalu. I've climbed once when I was in Form2 but took no picture. Only a certificate to certified that I've been on the peak. So, me and some classmates are planning to save money every month till we reach our budget - RM1000 per person. Oh yeah! :)

Trip with My Family!

It's been long since I updated my blog. I've been busy with some performances and also with my family trip! It was great. They came here last week; my dad, my mom, my sister and her husband, and they brought along my son. :)

They were here for about a week and I managed to spend about 4-5 days with them. We went around KL, Malacca, and Pahang. I enjoyed it much. Took a lot of pictures but only managed to let you see some because most pictures were taken using my sister's camera.

This picture was taken on the first day I came down to KL. The first question my dad asked when he first saw me was, "wanna have a drink tonight?". Haha

Don't misunderstand, my family takes alcoholic drinks when we are happy, celebrating something or in some special events. Me and my dad sometimes drink beer and talk about stuffs, discuss things, taking it in a very matured way, I would say. We'll just drink and talk as adults.

Except for his eyelashes, it's long like mine. It is weird if you look closely to his eyes since he has that Chinese eyes but with long eyelashes. Ahahaha
